Linz, 02.03.2022 - SlideLizard receives one of the popular seats in the current Microsoft Startup Program and therefore gets access to additional resources for further growth.

The "Microsoft for Startups" program, which was newly launched in the middle of last year, is now also picking up speed in Austria. The selection criteria is strict: only innovative technology companies with high growth potential have a chance to be accepted by the jury after a close evaluation. However, SlideLizard's modern software solutions for presentations could convince right at the first attempt and managed to get a place in the Startup Program!

Building on four levels, companies are initially classified according to their stage of development and then receive more support services from Microsoft in each level. Azure credits, software licenses, access to a huge mentor network, and support from technical experts are just some of the services included. As a Level 3 rated ScaleUp, SlideLizard can leverage considerable resources right at the start to drive further growth.

The current 100,000+ monthly interactions via SlideLizard LIVE show that the software is already an important part for customers. In addition, the latest product, SlideLizard CREATOR , will further drive SlideLizard's international distribution through its imminent release in the Microsoft Office Store. The SlideLizard CREATOR ensures, through a company-wide slide library, that all employees in the company always present with the most up-to-date slides and that self-designed presentations also comply with corporate design specifications of the firm.

"The seamless integration of our software suite into the Microsoft ecosystem, such as PowerPoint, is one of our greatest strengths compared to the competition. The inclusion in the Startup Program allows us to further expand this strategic advantage with the support of Microsoft." comments CEO Daniel Amerbauer.

AI Presentation Maker

An AI presentation maker is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate, structure, and design slide decks based on user input — such as a topic, a text document, or a data file. Most AI presentation makers follow a similar process: the AI analyzes the input, builds a logical slide structure, applies a suitable layout and design, and populates the content. Advanced AI presentation makers go beyond one-time generation: they connect to live data sources, adapt decks to different audiences, and keep presentations updated automatically over time.

Large Language Model (LLM)

A large language model (LLM) is an AI system trained on vast amounts of text data that can understand, generate, and transform language at a human-like level. LLMs power a wide range of applications — from chatbots and writing assistants to automated document creation and data summarization. In enterprise software, LLMs are increasingly embedded into workflows to interpret unstructured data, draft content, and translate information between systems automatically. In contrast, the Large Presentation Model (LPM) is a specialised AI system that orchestrates the entire presentation cycle in an enterprise context.

Internal Summary

An internal summary is a brief recap placed within a presentation — not at the end, but midway through — to reinforce key points before moving to a new section. It helps the audience consolidate what they have heard so far and signals a transition to the next topic. Internal summaries are especially valuable in long or complex presentations, where listeners may lose track of earlier content. They improve information retention and help maintain a clear narrative thread throughout the talk.
