The initial situation

At reqPOOL, presentations are a core part of day-to-day work. In projects, client meetings, and internal coordination, complex content needs to be prepared clearly, made available quickly, and presented in the current corporate design. In a consulting environment especially, it is important that teams can build on existing knowledge efficiently while keeping presentations consistent, up to date, and professional.

Over time, however, many presentations, standard slides, and variants had accumulated that were not always stored centrally or kept fully up to date. When creating new presentations, teams therefore often went back to existing files. This saved time in the short term, but created more work in the long run: content had to be searched for, reviewed, adapted, and sometimes updated manually. In addition, slides existed in different versions, sometimes contained outdated information, or were still based on old master layouts. As a result, it became harder to ensure consistently brand-compliant presentation quality. Even updates to standard slides could not simply be rolled out centrally and often had to be transferred into individual presentations manually.

For reqPOOL, this meant that the presentation process worked, but not as efficiently or reliably as it should for recurring project and client situations. The goal was therefore to find a solution that would allow standard slides to be managed centrally, found more quickly, and kept up to date over the long term.
