Would you like to impress your audience with advanced chart animations? Do you think that simple bars look boring? We do, too!
In this week's PowerPoint tip video, we give you a step by step guide on how to create and shape interesting chart animations, which can be molded to specific shapes, like the ones from people.

Step by Step Guide:

  1. Insert and place your selected icons, under the Insert-tab -> Icons.
  2. Make a right click on your slide and go to Format Background.
  3. Here, under Color, set your preferred background color.
  4. Now, create a rectangle under Insert –> Shapes and drag it over the whole Slide.
  5. Under Format -> Shape Fill and Shape Outline, you can set your preferred colors.
  6. With a right click on the rectangle, you can send it, by clicking Send to Back, to the background.
  7. Now do the following with each of your icons:
    · Select it.
    · Go to the Format-tab.
    · Click Change to Shape, to convert it into a shape.
If your object consists from more than one shape, do the following:
    · Make a right click on the object.
    · Ungroup the objects, under Group.
  8. Now, select the rectangle at first and then all the other shapes, by holding the shift-key.
  9. After that go to the Format-tab, under Merge Shapes, to Subtract.
  10. Now create smaller rectangles on top of your icons, like in the steps 4 – 6, and send them to the background.
  11. These are the levels of your chart. Adjust them to your preferred height.
  12. Now add animations, like Fly In, to the rectangles, under the Animations-tab.
  13. Under the same tab you can now adjust the duration of the animations to your liking.

Motivational Presentation

A motivational presentation is designed to inspire, energize, and encourage the audience to pursue a goal or embrace a change. It relies on storytelling, emotional resonance, and vivid examples to create personal relevance and shift the audience's mindset. Motivational presentations are used at company kick-offs, leadership events, team rallies, and public speaking engagements. Their effectiveness depends heavily on the authenticity and energy of the presenter.

Podcasts

Podcasts are episodic audio (and sometimes video) programs distributed digitally for on-demand listening. As a learning format, podcasts offer an accessible, low-barrier way to engage with expert knowledge, industry trends, and educational content — often during commutes, exercise, or other activities. Educational podcasts are increasingly integrated into blended learning programs as a supplement to formal training materials, and are especially effective for thought leadership and continuous professional development.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)

MOOCs are delivered through platforms such as Coursera, edX, or Udemy and can attract thousands of learners simultaneously. They typically combine video lectures, readings, quizzes, and discussion forums. MOOCs have democratized access to university-level education and professional skill development worldwide.

Prompt-to-Deck

Prompt-to-deck describes the process of generating a complete presentation from a short natural language instruction. The user provides a prompt — a topic, goal, or brief description — and a generative AI system produces a full slide deck including structure, content, and layout. Advanced prompt-to-deck systems go beyond simple templates: they pull in live data, apply brand guidelines automatically, and produce results comparable to a full AI presentation maker. The term is used interchangeably with "text-to-presentation."
